Else Sehrig-Vehling (Düsseldorf, 26.05.1897 - Bad Salzuflen, 12.02.1994 〔Entry on the birth certification (civil registration office Düsseldorf-Mitte No. 3194) Microfilm Einwohnermelderegister (MF) Düsseldorf〕 ) was a German expressionist. She was the daughter of the Architect Heinrich Vehling (1868 Düsseldorf1944 Koblenz) and of Eva Hubertine (maiden name Habes) (1874 Düsseldorf1953).〔 She was a member of an artist group called ''Das junge Rheinland'' (The Young Rhinelander's). Her style was influenced by her close friendships to Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Carl Barth, Max Schwimmer, Fritz Winter and other German artists. She studied at the Art Academy of Düsseldorf and was an important figure of the art scene there. In 1933 she married Hermann Sehrig, a German artist and Member of the Deutsche Werkbund. His works are in many public collections such as the German Ceramic Museum.
